ASAŞ, which is ranked as the Number 91 among the biggest industrial organizations in Turkey, gave hope to a patient with its ‘‘Blood, Thrombocyte and Stem Cell Donation Campaign’’ that was initiated to provide voluntary, conscious and regular blood donors and to create repeatable blood donation processes.

ASAŞ is one of the companies ranked in ISO 500 list through the importance that it attaches to the technology-oriented growth ever since its incorporation and is currently accepted as one of the leading producers in its sector in Europe.

DIGIT ALL in ASAŞ: Journey to the Future started. In the DIGIT ALL launching meeting which the representatives of SAP Turkey has also attended, the Digital transformation Project was introduced which shall start in all departments of ASAŞ in order to create a better customer and employee experience.

ASAŞ continues to be a beacon of hope with blood, thrombocyte and stem cell donation campaign which became a tradition within the corporate social projects.

The suggestion to establish the ASAŞ Basketball School, which was opened especially on November 24, The Teachers’ Day, came from the ASAŞ employees. The suggestion is approved because it was in compliance with the corporate responsibility strategy which the firm focused on the children, and actualised within a very short period with the contributions of the voluntary team established by the employees.

Derya Hatiboğlu became the new General Manager of ASAŞ, which revealed a successful growth graphic with its investments leading the sector since its establishment in 1990, and which is in the 79th rank in the top 100 of ISO 500 in 2016.

The Organization of Ones Adding Value to the Life, which is held by ASAŞ to reward the successful works, to assess the previous year, to have an enjoyable time altogether, and to make a stronger start for the next year; is held on February 23, 2018 at Sheraton Grand İstanbul Ataşehir. The event started with the opening speeches of Derya Hatiboğlu – General Manager, ASAŞ and Safa Bayar Yavuz – Member of Executive Board.

ASAŞ Aluminum Project Management System was selected as one of the top 5 applications in the 2nd R&D Center Good Practices Summit held in Kahramanmaras on 16-17 May.

ASAŞ performed the Organization of Ones Adding Value to Life on January 27, 2017. The night, which the second of it held this year, started with the opening speech of General Manager, Mr Bülent Akif Atabay, and continued with the speech of the Chairman of Executive Board, Mr Safa Bayar Yavuz.

ASAŞ, which is one of the biggest companies listed in ISO 500 in Turkey with its 5 state-of-art production facilities in Akyazı, Sakarya region and over 2000 workers and stable growth trend since its incorporation in 1992, and which is also one of the leading producers in Europe, received the 1st Prize in the category of ‘Aluminium Bar and Profiles’ and the 2nd Prize in the category of ‘Aluminium Coil & Sheet and Foil’ at the Metallic Stars of Export Award Ceremony that was organized by Istanbul Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters’ Association (İDDMİB) and given to those companies that made the highest amount of exports in 2015. In the ceremony that took place at Grand Hyatt Hotel in Istanbul on 17.05.2016, Tarık Sönmez, Assistant Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Economy presented the awards to Safa Bayar Yavuz, Chairman of Board of Directors of ASAŞ and Bülent Akif Atabay, General Manager of ASAŞ.

ASAŞ did not forget the children which are the most valuable beings and source of happiness of its employees this year, as in the last year. Both a gift has been given to the kids who made paintings in order to increase the interest of children in arts and to enable them to develop a deviationism ability with arts; and a painting book which included a story named as “Aluminium Is Valuable” gifted to all children who brought 3 aluminium soda cans with them, in order to develop recycling consciousness.

Asaş, which has achieved a stable growth trend since its incorporation in 1992, and which climbed to Number 124 in İSO 500 List in 2014, was awarded R&D Center Certificate approved by the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology as a result of its operations conducted by the target of shaping the future and with the awareness of innovation in the development of the country.
