Research and Development
Our R&D Department plays a crucial role in the lifecycle of our products. Our main focus point is the development of available and new products and processes, creation of innovative solutions and execution of short and long-term joint projects with our customers. Seeking to foresee the future, our company carries out extensive research and development activities aimed at the needs of the future. The ASAŞ R&D Team works hard to develop technologies that create long-term added value for the future and also reduce costs. We also meet the industrial needs of our customers by producing the most accurate solution, and continue working as a business partner for them to obtain great advantages in their projects.
Projects which the expertized R&D team of ASAŞ work on are as follows:
- Development of alloy with superior metallurgic, physical and mechanical characteristics,
- Development/improvement of extrusion die design and production technologies,
- Works to improve the extrudability of aluminum billets,
- Performance of the micro structural, mechanical characteristics and advanced material analyses, etc.,
- Development of innovative solutions especially for the projects of our customers in automotive and railway industry,
- Development of new and available products.
Technical Support
We have obtained invaluable experience from our customer’s projects with different expectations and requirements from more than 40 countries worldwide since our establishment in 1990 and the technical infrastructure of our engineering and technical team constitutes a basis for our technical strength. Our customers benefit from such experience in every new project, and ASAŞ strengthens its existing experience in problem-solving skills, development of current processes and final product quality, and creating added value. Our customers can also receive technical support and information throughout the design and production processes and follow the project from a single point of contact who is personally responsible for project completion.
